Re: clutch pressure cylinder of a manual tranny 2000 Civic
I'll probably get flamed but I have never changed any of the following in my
car: Brake fluid Clutch fluid (dealer didn't even flush this when they did the clutch on warranty at 170000kms) P/S fluid Coolant (I did change 1/2 of it when I did my water pump) I have also been told by more than one Honda dealer that the above are considered "Lifetime" fluids. I suppose that means that there is no listing on the maintenance schedule, so do it as needed. I have changed: Engine Oil (every 5000-10000kms) - Mobil 1 synthetic since about 80000kms Tranny Fluid (Manual trannie, every 50000-75000km) - Honda fluid only I have a 98 Civic LX Sedan 5spd manual with 283000kms on it. t gigelus2k3 wrote: >> >> Hello, >> >[quoted text clipped - 33 lines] >> at >> kua.net > >I'll check later, but don't remember seeing it in the maintenance list. -- Message posted via http://www.carkb.com |
