I don't know about that. All I know is that the Honda one was only a couple
bucks more than the one Schuck's had so I got the Honda one. Coolant/Thermostat Change
Hi everyone,
I just finished flushing the cooling system. Replaced thermostat and changed the coolant. As some of you know I have a 98 accord. I guess the hardest part was removing the pipe by the thermostat. It was in a hard to reach place (below the throttle body and behind the engine). I had to remove the air intake pipe in order to unscrew the thermostat housing. The pipe was stuck to the mating. I had to push with a screw driver underneath the pipe so I can unstuck it. It was a bitter experience since there was no room for manuevering. They could've simply placed the damn thermostat in the front or to the side damn it. It's an item that has to be changed every so often.
