Cost for a new door? 2004 Accord EX w/ side air bags?
I'm curious how much it would cost for a replacement door on a 2004 accord
EX with side airbags? My car was parked and got hit and run by a bus. The
damage isn't too severe but it is a brand new car and I'd really prefer a
new door since the seams from the replacement outer shell will show and hurt
the resale value of the car.
Thanks

Whether you replace the door or have it repaired has nothing to do with the
future value of your car. Just make sure its done by a good shop. You
should check with the body shop that will be repairing your car, as the
insurance company will use the least costly method....which may be a new
door. If not, you'll be paying the difference on top of your collision
deductible.
