Some people have very long legs and short torsos; some are just the opposite, and of course most fall in to the categories that people build for. A short-waisted and long-legged 6 footer may find the leg room unacceptable but the headroom great, whereas a short-legged but long-torsoed 6-footer may find the leg room fine but the head room a reason not to buy the car. A more average person may have no problem with both. It seems to me that it's a lot more likely that the fellow falls into one of the other categories than it is that he's just lying for some spiteful or other reason. It seems to me you'd be a lot more believable if you gave your opinion without telling folks (or implying) that the people who disagree with you are lying. But then this is usenet, and we can all do whatever we want. As for me, I'm 6'2", 280 lbs, and I fit fine in the Civic I tried out, the Accord I bought last year, and the Odyssey I bought in 2000. I've never been in an Element or a CRV. RFT!!! Dave Kelsen -- The universe is a big place... perhaps the biggest. |

Some people have very long legs and short torsos; some are just the
opposite, and of course most fall in to the categories that people build for. A short-waisted and long-legged 6 footer may find the leg room unacceptable but the headroom great, whereas a short-legged but long-torsoed 6-footer may find the leg room fine but the head room a reason not to buy the car. Did I say anyone was lying? Look, I have given my opinion and can support and back up my claims. As for the individual who can't fit, I am trying my best to come to his conclusion and understand it. You are correct, he may possibly horribly disfigured and unable to fit, But you can dick around with BS as much as you want. The bottom line is the cars specs are accurate and you can't change them and Honda would also conclude that a 6'1" person can fit properly and comfortably.... and I know factually they could possibly lie, but aren't. I also wear 36" inseam and average leg is much less then that........... You are more than in your own rights to draw your own conclusions from what ever anyone may say.................. For me, I like accuracy, a technical, financial and medical background requires such. |

Yes, your right! In your own little world things may make sense to you, that can't be and aren't supported by reality or facts........No WMD's Sorry, but don't take it out on me, you probably don't understand the difference between an opinion and a view. So your statements are really meaningless and since facts re on my side, I can conclude your just blowing smoke for smoking sake........ |
