I don't know for certain, but I think it's highly unlikely that this group
is moderated. It's more likely that your posts were marked as read in your
newsreader and now they're just not visible especially if you have the
option to show only unread messages. You can double check at
http://groups.google.com by searching for your messages.

Your posts haven't been deleted by anyone. Rather, Outlook Express (which
you are using) is set up by default to "delete posts after 5 days". Go to
Tools->Options, Maintenance tab, and uncheck the "Delete news articles after
5 days" box.

Re: faq request
This makes perfect sense, and when i go to tools>options, maintenance, the 5
day option is not selected, but they are getting deleted anyway. maybe i
just need to trash outlook express ?

This is a very good question because I, too, did not have that option
selected. However, even though I download the messages they disappear after
7 days. I don't understand this - I can understand if you are reading them
online using Outlook Express - but if you actually download them (to your
computer I presume) why do they disappear after 7 days. It must have
something to do with the server. DonnaB
