Help with moon roof slider. very hard to slide by hand...
New to us 1998 Civic EX with 72,000 miles.
The slider under the actual moon roof is very hard to slide. I can close it
by hand but my daughter cannot.
If I close it, it will open when the moon roof opens but I'm sure its
putting strain on the motor!!!
Any idea what this might be and how difficult it may be to fix? My guess is
it's not in the track correctly??
I'm going to examine it closer tonight buy sticking my head through the
moonroof (while open of course) and seeing if I can see the track???
I'm hoping one of you may already be familiar with this problem...
Would it involve removing the moon roof to fix.
The moon roof is not tinted and she will want to close it in the direct
sunlight..
TIA
