The rest of the items on the list are only some inspection activites, so I declined and they did not reset the light. What bastards. It came on solid after 10K. Right after the service I was not in my home town and did not have my manual with me so I did not know how to do the reset myself until I came upon another dealer and stop by to asked about the situation. The advisor said there is nothing else to do at 10K other than oil change and tire rotation ans was surprised that the first dealer did not want to reset the light so she did it in 30 seconds while I watched. Now I know better. |

My Canadian manual did say how to turn it off.
Anyway, you press the trip distance reset button while starting the car and hold it until it goes off.
