I have a Pilot, but if I had just a bit more cash for a downpayment, I would've went for the MDX. Don't get me wrong, my Pilot is a fine vehicle, but hey, if you can afford to drive an Acura, why not? Plus, my Pilot just got higher roll-over safety ratings than the MDX according to the NHTSA, http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/NCAP/Cars/2003SUVs.html. Go check out www.honda-pilot.org and www.acuramdx.org for discussions on pros and cons of buying one or the other. You can always ask more questions after you read up on some of the threads of discussions on your inquiry. Good luck! |

Re: MDX or Pilot??
I guess I am. But it's not as though there's a hug disparity between
MDX's and Pilot's safety ratings. Would you agree? Very marginal at the most. There are people out there who recommend other SUV's which has far inferior safety ratings over the Pilot and worse yet, there are countless out there that drive them. You make it sound as though I've just committed some great sin recommending the MDX over the Pilot. Even in www.honda-pilot.org, of which I'm a member and frequent contributor, I've always said that I'd get an MDX over the Pilot if I could've afforded it. Quite a few concurred.
