muffler for 98 Civic EX
I am having a noisy engine due to rusted over axel pipe, which is attached
to muffler (this is what a mechanic told me). He told me to replace the pipe
and the muffler. Is this pipe a part of a muffler or do I need to buyt it
separately ? If so does it also exist under a separate name ?
Thx.

Proablly one and the same... Look under there. If the rust spot is before
the two bolts (ie right on the spot that goes over the axel) then its one
and the same...
It will cost more at the Honda Dealer but you will only have to replace it
once. Lifetime warrenty after that. Just keep the reciept.
And its super easy to put on yourself.
