I would recommend a Subaru Legacy Outback. They have REAL AWD, not the
parttime that the others implement, and for the amount of miles you
need to drive, it would have the durability you need.

Why not get yourself a Ford Crown Vic with a traction lox
axle and traction control, since that what gets the state
cops around NY state all winter.

Wow man, that is low....
The worst I have gotten in my 88 Cherokee with the 4.0 and 5 speed is 20
US mpg running with 4 adults and the back packed to the roof with 3
duffel bags on the roof rack....

The worst I have gotten in my 88 Cherokee with the 4.0 and 5 speed is 20
US mpg running with 4 adults and the back packed to the roof with 3
duffel bags on the roof rack....
