Just because an engine has lots of miles does not mean that it is a bad
engine. It's possible that the Prelude engine will work longer and better
than the Civic engine. Even if it fails--you can have it rebuilt or
replace it at that point in time. Another option would be to put a really
great engine in the 86 Prelude that is superior to the present engine in
the Prelude and is far superior and more powerful than the Civic engine.
