the new *scam* in this town is towing your vehicle, and if you don't
claim it in 14 days, the city *owns* it and auctions it off for
pennies on the dollar. nice, hu?

The towing fee is $180, the daily storage fee is $75. If you're poor
like me, you can't come up with that kind of cash on a moment's
notice, and you LOSE you vehicle. All perfectly legal according to
Mayor Buttface.

BTW, I am disheartened that you had to recite to your judge The Law as
it pertained to your case, chapter and verse regarding the limitation
of punitive damages for the *crime* you committed. I'm thinking he
would have put you down for $40 even though he fined you $120, and
would have pocketed the difference.

The real crooks are the buggers wearing the robes.
