Temperature guage - weird thing
When my CRX warms up, the temperature guage goes up to a certain point
and then stays there - that's the normal thing.
Last night, while driving on the freeway (the CRX was already warmed
up), the guage dropped a bit from the normal level for a few seconds
(about halfway between the normal level and the beginning of the
guage) and then rose back up to the normal level.
That's never happened before. What gives?

I forgot to add, I live in Seattle, where we got 5" of rain in one
24-hour period. Could some water have gotten splashed in the
thermostat-area?

Hi,
Gooe guess. Temp did not go up and came down. So I guess that is good.
Little splash on the rad does wonders for cooling. When I used to pull
5th wheel trailer(~7500 lbs) I had a little set up in front of truck
rad. using little windshield fluid washer motor. When engine was getting
too hot climbing hills, etc. I just give a quick shot of spray, Voila,
the temp goes down to normal in no time.

I don't think you have to worry about this problem.
