What is the cost of a complete brake job in NY
I have a 2002 Accord SE, 47K miles. At highway speeds when I need to slow
down in a hurry, if I press on the brake it feels choppy not smooth, feels
like the brakes are going. Around town, they seem fine...
If I replace the rotors, pads and rears what am I looking at like 800 bux.
I am not going to the dealer, I have a friend that swears by a local
guy...so I am leaning on going to him.

90% chance this is curable. put a /little/ antiseize on the hub face,
and re-torque the wheels by hand in a 2 or more stage process. torque
sequence is 1324. google this group for past comment on this. do /NOT/
let the tire shop rotate and fasten your wheels with air tools. torque
by hand using a torque wrench.
