Re: What to look for when buying used 98-01 Accord????
99 accord 4 cyl EX.
Bought car used at 36 K miles-absolutely no problems, but I only have 59K
miles. I contacted previous owner who said car turned in for lease expire.
She had no problems with car.
EX 4 cyl has moon roof, leather seats, power driver seat (only power seat).
A really good car. Currently has ignition switch recall which I don't think
is major.

My friend wants to buy a Used Accord. I am trying to talk her out of buying
the V6, for the VTEC 4cylinder.
Does the V6 need a timing belt change?
I am aware of the differences in the models in earlier years with regards to
lx/ex/exr, or lx/dx/ex.
What are the differences in the models of this generation?
What are the idiocyncracies of this generation of Accords?
Thanks in advance for your kind attention.
