I need to replace 2 broken front wheel studs on an 89 Prelude SI.What is the

Some studs are pressed out backward.

Ok...so how do you get the new ones in?....It appears that I will have to
separate the hub,...maybe remove the axle?... Although I haven't done it on a honda, this is how I pressed in a stud
on another car. Put stud in place, put a bunch of washers on the lug nut side, put on the lug nut, then tightened until it pressed into place. Getting the stud out was a pain, I used a couple of clamps and a steel bar - certainly the wrong tool but better than beating on it with a hammer and damaging other parts. |
