Some studs are pressed out backward.

Re: wheel studs

Ok...so how do you get the new ones in?....It appears that I will have to
separate the hub,...maybe remove the axle?...

Re: wheel studs

Although I haven't done it on a honda, this is how I pressed in a stud
on another car.

Put stud in place, put a bunch of washers on the lug nut side, put on
the lug nut, then tightened until it pressed into place.

Getting the stud out was a pain, I used a couple of clamps and a steel
bar - certainly the wrong tool but better than beating on it with a
hammer and damaging other parts.
