At the dealer, sure. They figure people who are silly enough to spend
$50K for a new car, don't really care about the minimum $300 service
bill.

You should see what some Lexus dealers are soaking their customers for
for simple oil changes.

Infiniti is in the same class as the Acura and Lexus and if you google the
Toyota group you will find several complaints about the cost of routine
maintenence at Lexus dealerships. You may not believe in bringing your
Lexus to a dealer for maitenence but most people in that price class do.

5000 mile service -- an oil change essentially with tire rotation -- ran
over $150.00 and that was several years ago. The service at 30k was close
to $900.00 which included new rear brake pads. Our Pilot is significantly
less to operate.

Acura's A/B/C services are the same as for Hondas. You pay a few bucks
more, but they're pretty close.
