Im trying to convinve my dad to buy me a old honda prelude . The car is red but the carbon fiber hood is black. My dad is convinced that the hood should be the same color as the car and because of this, he wont buy the car. I said that he is wrong and thats just how the hood should be. Whos right?

you are, the carbon fiber hood is an add on, and its exposed to be that colour, you dont paint a carbon fiber hood.

Your are right I dont think i have ever seen a carbon fiber hood that is the same color as a car. Most carbon fiber is always black and kinda grey. So you are right.

carbon fiber is not supposed to be colored you wuldnt be able to tell it was carbon fiber and i dnt even think you can pain it but yes you are right it should not match the car

yes,crabon fibre is suppose to be that color.i dont suggest painting over it.You neve know what chemical changes you might cause.















im pretty sure you can buy colored Carbon fibre,but it may still look a little off.
