03 Elantra GT horn replacement???
Has anyone replaced the pathetic horn on their 2003 Elantra GT? I almost
got creamed today by some moron who drifted right into my lane. My horn was
useless. I want to replace it with something louder. I don't want air
horns or anything, just something I can mount in the front where the
original is and will use the same wires but is much louder. Any
suggestions? Also, I couldn't figure out how to unplug the wires from the
existing horn. I could unclip the plastic thingy (technical term) but no
matter how I pulled it wouldn't come out. I could cut the wires, and will
if necessary.
LC.

Re: 03 Elantra GT horn replacement???
I know the XG350 horn is "Plug and Play" with the 02 Santa Fe, I would
guess it is the same connector on them all and the XG350 sounds MEAN.
(My wife complained about her wimpy horn also)
BTW, the XG horn is $50 new (each, low tone and high tone!)

You can listen to some horns here. Usual disclaimers.
