If it's out after servicing, don't worry about it. It'll come back on if
it sees a problem. There's likely one of two scenarios depending on how
easily the lamp on this system resets:
1. The servicing dealer reset the lamp, or
2. The system saw the voltage was correct and reset the lamp on its own.

I'd suggest that you look for a good independent shop to work on the car
in the future. Rebuilt alternators are relatively cheap (typically
~$125) and it only takes ~1/2 hour to replace one, so the bill shouldn't
have been more than $200.
