Re: 2005 Tuscon
I picked one up about 3 weeks ago for the wife. GLS Model. She loves
it. I was looking at the Sante Fe but the leg room in the Tucson was
much better.
I've only driven it a few times on the highway and like the handling.
I am seriously thinking of unloading my Explorer and picking up
another Tucson.
On another note: I thought that the 24th ID was deactivated. ?
Brings back some good memmories. 2d Batt, 70th Armor. 24th I.D.
Augsburg, Germany, 1965-67.

Re: 2005 Tuscon
I bought a GLS AWD on October 30th. I haven't found anything I don't like.
The handling and AWD performance is far better than my 2000 Subaru Legacy.
We recently had 20 cm. of snow mixed with freezing rain and the vehicle
plowed through without a problem. I am very impressed.

Re: 2005 Tuscon
Ed,
The 24th was deactivated for a time and has since been reactived. It has
one active duty brigage located at Ft.Riley.

Re: 2005 Tuscon
Check out www.tucsonforum.net to meet other Tucson owners from around
the world. Some overseas owners have had thiers for a little longer
since they were sold there earlier than the US.
