am/fm/cassette in 2004 Sonata
I have the am fm cd cassette in my Sonata.
Bought the empty cassette with a cord gadget to play my iPod thru the car speakers, but the cassette player seems to constantly see the end of tape signal and tries to reverse the non-existant tape.
Any way to make this thing work?
Thanks
Jim

Unfortunately, not with this radio and adaptor pairing. Perhaps
purchase one of the i-pod rf transmitters.

Probably the cassette player try to reverse because there is no motion on
the wheel that is usually moved by tape.
If you can't find the way to make it rotating no solution

Yes, get a newer designed cassette adaptor which have two sprockets
connected internally with a belt. You can test by turning one of the drive
sprockets and the other one should also turn. You currently have an older
style adaptor designed before auto reverse tape drives. With your adaptor,
if you turn one drive the other stays still and the player think the tape
has ended because it stopped.
