MIRROR STUCK! '01 HYUNDAI ACCENT
Hello,
This morning I couldn't fully move the left outside mirror from my '01
Accent. It's a manual mirror, nothing electrical or fancy; I move it
by hand from the inside of the car. It's moving to the left and right,
but not up and down. My right one is working properly.
1. WHAT CAN BE WRONG?
2. HOW DO I REMOVE MY LEFT OUTSIDE MIRROR IN ORDER TO SERVICE IT (I
cannot find it at http://www.hmaservice.com)?
Thank you,
Rob

I had to replace the driver's side mirror on my '96 Accent after I wrecked it. To that what was
left of the old mirror off I had to remove a plastic plate on the inside of the door (up close to
the windshield) to get to the bolts that hold the mirror housing itself on. This may be the same
for you.
