OEM wheels for Accent 2001

I have 14 inch alloy wheels on my 2001 Accent and in need of OEM steel
wheels for new winter tires. My dealer tells me I need 14x5J wheels.

Can I use these from a Saturn on my Accent?

Bolt pattern: 4x100
Wheel dimensions: 14" x 5" (14"x6" outside dimensions)
Offset: 50mm
Centrebore: 57.1mm

While I don't have personal experience with this modification, there
have been quite a few postings to this group regarding such:

I used the 15" Saturn wheel that I got from the salvage yard
for $15/wheel. All of the 15" Saturn wheels are the same. They have
exactly the same bolt pattern as the Accent (4 x 100mm) and offset
(45). You will have to drill 2 - 3/8" holes in the wheels to clear
the phillips head screws that stick out of the Accent's front wheel
hubs.

195X50 15" Fuldas on steel Saturn rims. I've got over 40K miles on
mine and they still look like new.

Go to www.tirerack.com, they have explanations of wheel width, offset,
plus-sizing, etc.

Great "Tire/Wheel Size Calculator" at

Additional postings may be accessed by searching for "Accent
wheels tires" within group (top of page.)

Actually, you can take those screws out. They're used to hold the hub
and rotor together during the assembly process and are unnecessary
once you have a wheel bolted on.
