Re: poor fuel econmy
I'm going to assume that you have the automatic tranny (which means
that the sticker MPG is 24/33).
First, how many miles are on the car? If you haven't properly broken
in the engine then this is to be expected for the first ~2000 miles.
How do you drive it? If you're real heavy on the gas and break then
that's about right. Also, if you spend a significant amount of time
above 2500 RPMs then that will do it as well.

Re: poor fuel econmy
If you are like my wife who makes 50-60 VERY short trips (less than a mile)
you will get about 18mpg.
I can get 24mpg if the trips are a longer distance but the tiny trips are
mileage killers for this car.
I get 32-34mpg on the high way though............ she used to use an older
van (350 chevy) for those shortys and we got 5-6mpg!
The trips are absolutely necessary for business so don't go there please.

Jesus said that we would always have the poor with us. American
conservatives seem to think this is a good thing.
