it WILL NOT VOID your warranty.
its a FEDERAL LAW
have it done a local stereo shop that has been around awhile.
do NOT use a bulldog system

While it won't void your warranty, be aware your warranty won't cover any
problems caused by the system or its installation.
For example, I worked on an Alero which set the check engine lamp when the
car was started with the remote starter.
