My 03 AWD, AT LX has 3000 miles on the clock and I get from 14.5 to 18.2
around town and back and forth to work, about 5 minutes on the highway each
way. Also, I live in a very hilly city and so spend a lot of time in second
gear on the hills!

Re: Santa Fe Mileage?
My 2002 FWD 4 cyl gets 18-20 city if I use Shell or Marathon Gas. Use
BP & get 14-16 (told it is the corn in it). HWY is 25-28 with Shell
or Marathon.
As far as the MPG on the paperwork on window of car. Hyundai used 91
octane to give those 26-30 on their test track..... I use 27 octane.

Re: Santa Fe Mileage?
My 2002.5 6cyl AWD gets on the average ~22.5 mpg (US), that is using regular
unleaded gas from the local gas bar.

Re: Santa Fe Mileage?
I have a 2002.5 GL FWD 2.7L V-6, and get 20-22 mpg comuting to work
(18 miles / 30 minutes.) On all-freeway driving I get 23-25 mpg, w/
AC on most of the time (Houston, TX). I always use 87 octane regular.
