The 5/60 warranty remains with the car unless the car has been salvaged or
similar incident has occurred. Of course failures due to the vehicle not
being properly serviced are not (and never were) covered. To rightfully
deny warranty service, Hyundai would need evidence that the failure
actually occurred because of the lack of proper maintenance.
