I've own a couple of all out race cars aswell, and built them all myself. and also broke a few records at the track. For your information there is now way that car would have even come close to an R1 (yamaha 1000cc), you must have had a wet dream thinking about gtowns car that day.

im just waiting for this race to happen. being a mustang fan my moneys gonna be on the stang for a very simple reason. theyre cheap to build. that and everything is available for them. its like modifying a honda but cheaper with greater gains. ive got a friend who had a mid 10 second stang and had about 10 grand into it. stock bottom end, blown, heads cam suspension tremec tranny, stuff like that, and he daily drove that car for years. so ive seen first hand what theyre capable of, hell i even watched him pump a 700 hp trans am one nite from a dig. really hard too. so im vey anxious to see this race happen. if you guys wanna make it on a sunday id be more than happy to come to the track adn get video for you and after that we'll all go for a beer someplace

fantastic, pm me the details if you wanna keep them off the board and ill meet you guys at the track, hopefully ive got a 10 day on the stang and a tire thats not as bald as this one so i can get my 15 second base runs, and then on goes the spray and the other goodies

No there is nothing wrong with 5.0 and who said ill back out. If gtown loses he loses who cares. him and i both are about 10+ years younger then you and on the same level in life and maturity as you so in the end there are no losers
