2000 Lexux GS400 Mellenium Edition vs 96 Camaro RS

if it's a joke then why did gm use it in a dozen cars? it's a proven quality engine with excellent fuel economy and built quality, for a decade. the point of putting a 3.8 in a camaro/firebird is because they want to sell it to a vast audience, not limiting its audiences, it's a very simple marketing strategy. and for your question, yes it is a 5 speed manual, but 4 speed automatic. and i dont know if a super or turbo will work well or not b/c i simply havnt tried it yet, but i heard there's a lot of engine components you can put along with a 3800.

Listen the 3.8 isn't the joke. The 3.8 is one of the greatest motors ever built, as far as im concerned. However a Camaro is all about the V8 RWD 6spd monster power, getting a Camaro with a v6 is a god damn waste either go v8 or go home. Why take a car with lower optioned motor if you're going for a sports car. The car still looks cool, but half the coolness and image is about the fact that hey that could be an LS1, ya know that low 13s factory car.
Z-2-8, that's it.
PS did you just say its a 5spd A4?
Turbo the 3.8 you can do monster things with that motor.

thnx for the link, however when i bought that car 2nd hand, it was automatic, i was thinking of swaping the transmission, but mechanics told me that it's gonna create trouble, so im just gonna stick with it, i hate automatics. my next car is gonna be the 2002 camaro z28 special edition, hopefully i'll get one with low mileage and manual transmission, it's unbelieveable how many camaros had automatic, that's totally stupid, a sports can should be ONLY manual!

thnx, i really want to swap the transmission, let's say the tranny break down, and i really want to keep the car, and i want to swap it to manual, is it possible? can i keep it under 1000 bucks to swap it ?

You are better off buying a new car like I said.
