I call BS. No way would a 145 crank pursuit even come close to beating a car that has 205 more HP..Not to mention that a new X5 would be a 4.8L or 4.4L. Not sure where you got the 4L from..
Total Bull mofukkin ! |
I have to call bs on the 200kmh... I own a G5 and I'm damn sure it won't hit 200... 180 MAYBE... but thats pushing it. Even if it did by some form of a miracle the handling would have been so i hope to hell it was a completely straight road.

can't believe ppl are still writting on this, it was a straight road btw and power to weight ratio could of came in effect or maybe he wasn't pushing it, i dont know! my car did in fact hit 200, i can take a video of it but i dont like doing that to my car, that was a one time thing and will never happen again! as for the guy with the G5, if you can find a closed road try it out, it takes a bit of time but gets there eventually...lol! i'm not a little poser kid, like i said it was a one time thing and will never happen again!

I can't believe some of you morons think ANY sub-performance GM vehicle without the exemption will pass 164km/h BECAUSE THEY'RE LIMITED from the factory to that speed! They'll cut out. Let's whip our dicks out about our p.o.s. econoboxes some more!

I've taken my parents old 91 Tempest to 210 - sounded like a sewing machine and took about 5+kms to get there It's true though, most of the cars out now are limited - we had a 92 Corsica and it would cut out at 174 oh oh... my Fiero hit 200 before... but was only telling me I was going 145km/h. Maybe I should steel my sisters G5 and see if I can get to 200... or loose my license! But I can't see this being a true 'race' - there's no way that the x5 would loose to the G5 if they were actually racing it. |

if you can hit 200 once u can do it again. the reason why wer still on this topic is because its fun to make fun of idiots like yourself who claim their pontiacs can hit 200 without any mods. next time you wanna make a false claim think twice. and if you think im wrong and youre right and you want to do this safely run a dyno test. show me what you got. that way youre not doing this out on the streets. |
isnt cobalt got a limiter on 180? how did u get up to 200
I can't believe some of you morons think ANY sub-performance GM vehicle without the exemption will pass 164km/h BECAUSE THEY'RE LIMITED from the factory to that speed! I heard numerous times about european mazda3 with 1.6 with like 105 hp hitting 200 and even more (it doesnt have a limiter). then why the hell a 2.2 cobalt with 145 hp wouldnt reach 210 and more? |

well thats bs. it cuts of at 180 km/h approximately. and if it wasnt for the limiter i am pretty sure it can do 210 and more. I heard numerous times about european mazda3 with 1.6 with like 105 hp hitting 200 and even more (it doesnt have a limiter). then why the hell a 2.2 cobalt with 145 hp wouldnt reach 210 and more? you said the mazda3 is an european version with no limiter as to the cobalt which does have a limiter. Nobody here said that the cobalt couldnt do it without the limter. its just not posible with a limiter and if the car was not stock i think the guy who posted this thread would have mentioned it already. next time click on the preview post before submitting your reply and myabe you wont look like an ass. |
can ur car even reach 200 in such a short distance?
|
