Ah, gotta love ricers!
So I race this grand am. He's got dual tips on each side and a Grand Am sticker across the top of his rear window, as if we didnt know what piece of wood he drives.
First time, I test him a bit, let him get in front of me by half a length, then reel him in. Just before I redline 3rd, I've pulled half a car, and shut it down hard. Figured I took him for a walk and we're done. But no. He does a ricer blowby. And then flashes his 4ways. :nono: big mistake Next light, we're even through most of first, I gain a bit, spin hard on the 1 -2 shift so he gets back even with me, but then it's over. I start putting distance on him, nail 3rd and it just gets uglier. I throw on my four ways, and slow down. The guy makes a quick right so he doesn't have to line up for another run. Which is good, because my leash isn't long enough to reach that far back. :spank: |
alright.
|
I don't know what is worse, the ricer or the fact that you "raced" him.
|
It was even through first? WTF?!
|
first race was more or less from a roll, I was eyeballing the car, he juiced it halfway through second, I hit it too, then like I said, I reeled him in, pulled ahead, shut down, and he did a blowby and put on his 4 ways.
2nd race was from a dig, pretty much even through first and the start of second because I can't put the power down. I have shitty all seasons which came with a set of rims I picked up. My 185 winters grip harder than these, and these are 205's lol |
what car do you have?
|
^Yeah, I assumed the Grand Am was giving a Viper a good run.................
|
lol I drive a saturn wagon.
|
what a waste of gas.
|
ahahahahayhahahahahahahahaxhahahhahahahahahahahaah ahahahahah
|
If the guy wouldnt have flashed his 4 ways, I wouldn't have wasted my gas on him again. Anybody hit up Cayuga yet?
|
just let this thread die...you hate ricers, yet, you are one.

LMAO, you're in a saturn wagon. Even if he did flash his 4 ways, was it really worth it? I mean you coulda been booked by cops, and end up spending a year or two in jail, for something as stupid as that. |
I also run a 15.5 on the strip ;)
I don't quite think I would have gone to jail though. |
hah yo uguys are brutal, rudy your gay. lets boost your piece of wood

I don't quite think I would have gone to jail though. I thought it said atleast a year of jail time for 1st offence in the new street racing law. I could be wrong though...:dunno: |
CANOE -- CNEWS - Canada: Ont., government bill proposes stiffer penalties for street racers
"The legislation, which increases fines for street racers up to $10,000 - making it the highest penalty in Canada - and allows police to automatically seize their cars for up to a week" No jail time in Ontario, anyhow. Uch, the shitbox is up on stands, isnt it? :P |
yeah my bad lol, it only says you can lose you license (which to me is just as worse as jail)

So, you have a Saturn and he has a Pontiac, but he's a ricer???:dunno: And you also think he's stupid for trying to race you?, why, you're both in 15-16 second cars at best, so why are you complaining about him?
|
I think a fair race would be your saturn wagon against my topaz...
Let me know when your heading up to cayuga, if I'm ready I'll head up with you -Mike |
uh his wagon is actually pretty cool for what it is, a potential sleeper if he lets me help him.
rudy my car drove onto the trailor, off of it, and into storage last year. itll be a repeat to bring it hom in a week. i have no first gear, thats my problem right now, tbu aside from that the car is mobile and i can drive it :D its last year it sat on jack stands, lol |

Lowbalt, those are some stiff sentences. Thanks for posting that.
PonyRyd, his car is high 16's at best, my wagon's not in the same shape as it was last year. I only raced him a second time because he did a ricer blowby and put on his 4 ways acting like he won. Mike, NA for NA you and me would be a pretty cool race actually, you got the power, but don't have the tire for it with those Proxes 4's that you had last year ;) I dont wanna get addicted to the bottle, that's probably why I've never sprayed anything yet :P Uch, it's got some potential, but my wallet doesnt haha. I just wanna crack the 14's this year and do some roadcourse and autocrossing. Have some fun with the thing :) And launching in 2nd should keep your wheelspin down ;) |
u live in brampton... is ur saturn wagon dark blue or black with tints and steelies???????
|
Neither, it's gold.
|
so is it an SL wagon???? if so WTF do u have done to that thing to run a 15.5, cus I work at Saturn and we have abunch of those on our used lot and those things are so gawd damn slow its unbelievable......
|
Wagon's were SW's, sedans SL's and coupe SC's. 1 or 2 in any of the names stands for SOHC and DOHC, respectively. Mine's an SW2.
The important thing is that it have the DOHC engine, and a manual (preferably one that was paired with a DOHC originally, shorter gear ratios than a SOHC paired manual). Rare to see a wagon with a DOHC/5sp; mine's an auto->manual conversion. Otherwise, all I have is an intake, bored TB, good tires, and a little bit of experience launching it, which makes all the difference :) |

those DOHC's are rated 125 HP ... hitting 15.5 is pretty good!!
|
yeah its a qiuck little car for what it is. he uses it to turn more than to drag but with my help i can help him hit 14's or better ;)
|
The thing with saturns, is because they bodys are plastic, they're light. The average saturn is only 2450lbs.
Uch, stay out of the boost, im sure you could handle a 2nd gear launch nicely with a little bit of clutch slippage :) |
hah naw man my clutch is too grabby for that . my best bet is a first gear launch with the boost controller turned off and then once i hit third gear reactivate it and hope for the best, lol.
trust me, launching my car is a little bit trickier than launching your car, lol |

|
