Okay the '93 EG i just bought has the B16a SIR Del sol engine with dc headers 4-1, spoon ecu, AEM intake. The man who sold it to me, has the dynos slips from little while ago, i think a couple of months. i have seen them , and when i go pick the car up hes going to give them to me, and i am gonna take a picture of it and post it on here, cause i dont have a scanner. But it tested:

In my own opinion thats not bad for a little hatch back. It moves pretty well, but like the other guys are saying, no torque :smilie_da . but she moves once that vtec gets going. I just sold my 91 Taurus SHO 5spd that had a couple of mods to it, and man you wanna talk about torque. For the wieght of that thing which is 3800lbs, she moved good. Got her up to 235hp (220hp Stock) 195 whp. She moved, and the SHO had a lot more power then this civic i am getting, and sounded awsome once those secondaries opened up @ 4000rpm. Man i miss that car, but way too much on gas needed 94 octane and drank gas like a V8.

I agree with you Zman. Looking stock is the best way to go. My civic looks totally stock. Its lowered 1.5inch and thats it. My rims are the steel cheesy rims, and there is no skirts or anything. :laugh: :appl:. i like it that way. i dont like the attention. just me.

I know my car isn't a 500whp Camaro or a turbo b18c gutted hatch making 400whp. But when you put 170whp in a car that only weighs 2300lbs(ish) its going to be quick. Now i know turbo talons are quick, especially modded ones, but he had 3 people in his car and i had 2. We went from a roll, i know he prolly would've beat me if we were going from a stop b/c my car has no torque. But when i'm at 5500rpm and give'er she goes. And a turbo any car takes a minute to start rippin....turbo lag is a bitch.

And i think having 165whp in a stock block b16 is pretty good seeing as stock b16's dyno anywhere from 135-150whp TOPS and thats being generous.
The best part about this thread is that prolly half of the people responding don't even have a modded car, don't know $hit about honda's and have prolly never turned a wrench in thier lives.
All i can say is if you don't believe me then line em up with me. I'm not saying that i have the fastest car in the world, hell there are TONS of cars that are way faster than mine, but my little honda goes pretty good.
