civic guy and neon guy

the same thing can be said for a civic. A civic is still a civic weather it's stock, got a swap or turbo. it's still just a civic.
there are fast n/a neons just not popular like civic's. with the money you would spend for a k20 swap in a civic a neon could be alot faster and still have money left over.
my 2 cents

another thing to consider, albeit those honda motors make 200hp, how much torque do they make? honda is notorious for making big power by spinning high, but no ***** to back it up.
one more thing, the first generation neons (what was it, like 96-99 or something?) were the most powerful in their class. how 'bout them apples?
but don't look at me, I don't like either car. I'll never own either.

Neon's are quick in stock for for what it is..
my friend has a 97 coupe 5spd dohc, kept up& pulled on a GS integra (B18A).. I'm sure it would give a Civic SiR EP a run for its money, at only 160hp from that K20..
but you definitely can SRT4 swap one for cheap and make it a lot quicker than most guys that would have been laughing at you in their civics.
