boxters are slowwwwww....they look alright.....but a sunfire gt or z24 might be able to hold one with some mods...but driver plays a big part in circuit racing and that boxter should easily outhandle a jbody on the track....but back on topic.....i could easily see a s2k beating up an entry model boxter, and you still dont know if either car was modded.....eh good for the s2k driver

Rep Power: 673 haha a boxster is a piece of . i was lapping my buddies sunfire a couple years back at the autodrome and the ****er couldnt pass me or even catch me for his life. on the straights we were dead even, sunfire with 2 people in it, an intake and exhaust and thats it. those things are fuken wood. that doesnt include the handful i punked in my old car.
better still, dunnville last year, a stupid ferrari 360 thinking king of the world, i went out with my buddy in his cooper (regular one, not S) with street tires and coils, and he's keeping up with the dam 360! and same as me too (im on slicks though), such a shame he's always on the other side of the track or in the pits... given a few more laps one instance, and i could've caught him

you guys missed what i said, on the straights he wasnt pulling us back at all. i even had a few run ins with boxsters in my cav when i was still on the motor and id pull them every time. theyre not a fast car. they dont handle that great. your paying for a name, its a modern poor mans porsche, nothign else. its a status symbol that you have a little bit of money, enough to buy something decent but not enough to buy the better model.

i havent driven one... i guess though some prefer to look good at 40 rather than drive at 400
for the rest of us boxster is a totally useless object... Z4M money. i'd take the bimmer even though i hate the badge and the look of the dam thing

viperoni, i remember watching mike feed a boxster in his tempo one nite, over and over again. of course mikes tempo ran 14.8 all motor and then when needed had a 75 shot 
i just dont see the point of buying a low end vehicle made by a high end company. its like buying a pos 318 bmw. its garbage, its the worst piece of crap they make. you buy it to make yourself look good and in the process every car guy laughs at you for not being able to afford to buy the better model.

LOL @ people thinking the boxster is a REAL porsche. Its the 318i of porsche. Basically meant for the posers (especially in Toronto) who only care about the badge on the front of their vehicle. I love how people around here try to impress me when they say they own a BMW or MB. Then I ask if its an M-car or AMG, they say no, and I say Im sorry to hear that. Then they get all upset because Im not buying into their status symbol.

Rep Power: 729 lol, you cant get a gt in a coupe and i wanted a coupe. dont like the way the hatch's look. plus its still a 5 liter, has all the same stuff as a gt, but its much lighter.
hoping to hve the car home mid april, the roads arent clean enough for me just yet and we evn got some snow a couple nites ago so ill just wait. not in a big rush. gas is getting a litle steep again so the stang will be weekends only i think. mind you with stock gear they get pretty good milage. at the same time i put gas into my atvs the other day,20 bucks got me 16.33 liters. made my knees week, lol.
yup sks are a joke aswell, people praise them like theyre gos gift to the ricer community or something but really its just an overpriced rwd civic. lol

Yeah, the S2k is way overpriced for what it is, great platform though but it should have been boosted from factory. At the very least it should make a little bit more power than 240hp for 60 grand.
