With my talon I don't waste my time with stock porsches. Unless their cocky and need to be taught a lesson

honestly... i love talons. dsm motors have great power,but lots of problem and require lots of maintance.but just imagine if it was as cheap to afford like a civic. they would be everywhere.

I'm a proud owner of a 2g Talon. This car has so much potential its not even funny. This can definitely surpass a Porsche considering they are boosting a govenor, as we are not. Not to mention there are Talons boosting 16-30 psi?, roughly 300-800 hp?

dsm's, civics, cavaliers are all "crap" cars in the eyes of supras, s14s, 350z's etc....why are we all fighting against each other saying cavaliers suck, hondas suck, dsms suck. They ALL have potential for power. I drive a cavalier, ive driven civics, accords, integras, talons and neons and they all have their pros and cons. But with aftermarket resources you cant say a cavalier is crap because of the shitty suspension, because with good suspension modifications its just as good as an aftermarket civic suspension.
There was a time when lots of civics and dsms were done up with crappy aftermarket parts, cavaliers are getting out of that stage now and the aftermarket support is growing, better parts are available now.
Just because you dont like a certain car doesnt mean it sucks. dms dont suck, awd turbo, lots of fun in those things. Cavaliers dont suck, ecotecs can run high 14s/low 15s with minor n/a mods. Civics dont suck either. They got tons of engine swaps available, and aftermarket support is amazing.
You cant compare an exotic to a sport compact car ever. Even if you beat him, he drives a ****in porche, sure you have bragging rights on whos faster, but his car is worth a hell of a lot more than the talon, but you feel better inside knowing you beat a porche.
Remember in f&f when paul walker beats the ferarri theres a perfect example. What that guy would feel in real life would be complete dissapointment and can you say what the **** just happened?!
With all the mods you spend on a dsm, civic, cavalier, you could have bought a supra, 350z, used corvette, real cars with real potential and good street value to them. But some people feel better having spend the money on their car, because its their car. No matter how perfect a car may be in your eyes, SOMEBODY will find something wrong with it or not like it. Car modding is all about personal satisfaction.
Even if it was a supra vs porche, the porche would still laugh at the supra, even though its a tuners dream car. Why? Because they didnt just buy the porche for the power, but the name. The name means more than power and who he can/cant beat.
I should have posted this in its own topic but what the hell. I was bored and it needed to be said.

exactly what I would have said....plus these Porsche drivers or for all that matter any exotics...they have the kind of dough to buy these car..imagine what they can do to a car such as the Talon in this case...just think... different cars serve different purpose... enjoy what you have and can have...
