Ford Mustang 87 to 93 model with some mild mods. Mid 9 sec car for under $15gs. Before you flap your mouth off. Car cost me $2500, built motor $8gs and charger for $2700, and $1500 for rims tire and suspension work.

Lol. I know stangs are cheap to build up but those $$$ sound a little light. How about fuel, ignition, tranny reinforce to hold the power, Differential, drive shaft breaking, roll-cage and chute? And that's not considering you want to stop (brakes).

You do all the wrenching yourself or including labour?

P.S. I'm riding a "slow" Busa now since the the GSXR1K was too fast for me.

You don't need a roll cage to run 9's only if your at the track, I've seen many stangs with stock brakes in the 9's. chutes are for car that run over 150mph, and thats if your at the track. the stock diff is good with some mild mods(spool and axels), killer drive shaft and safty loop about $500.
I know I can get a stang to run in the 9's for very cheap.

sick story man,
musta been a nice ride through the highway there. sick.

but **** that id take a zx-14 and slap a turbo on there and there's nothing but maybe an F1 ride that could keep up. ;)

itsbudda 10-02-2008 11:52 PM

Dude that's sick. I'd pay money to see 3 supercars go at it.

Definitely, I could hear the viper over the exhaust note of my bike (and I was running an aftermarket D&D).

The $8gs covered all the fuel and ignition parts needed for the boost. Yes, I do all my wrenching. That way if something screws up, I have no one to blame but myself.

cool story, must have been fun.

about the cocky bikers i would like to add that indeed, guys who only own a bike and no other means of transportation, and that most of the time are in that situation because they can't afford a car should keep their mouths shut.

i've encountered lots of such cocky ****ers in romania. and funny thing about romania is that it has no highways, and instead is full of single lane mountain roads.

so i've had my fun with them to a point where i was scared for their lives. stupid ****s couldn't handle loosing the chase with a car that they would rape on a straight road. one managed to pass me and almost lost control of the bike when cutting me off. and not to mention that i was doing all of this with a passenger in the car, blasting beats and enjoying heat :). and i did get a few dumb ****s that wanted to race me with girls attached to their bikes, and after smoking them to 130 through cars i'd let them win, once again, afraid for the poor dumb girls life. Because in the end, a 12 second bike with a passenger can't keep up with a 14 second car with two passengers, and a 10 second bike with a passenger will probably result in two deaths in such a matchup
