^So you're saying every car at the track is "unrealistic" if it doesnt have a full interior while running? LOL
Speed is speed. Every racer does what they can to run the 1/4 better. Enough said. |
he's talking about STREET racing ...
and he's 100% correct , the car could be a lot faster at the track than it is on the street . So in a real STREET race , you know the ocasional one that you might run into while cruising on highway 7 or something ... You could get owned constantly by a car that ran street trim at the track and got smoked by yours . I ran my 4 door h22 with 14" winter tires and full interior at the track :D it was funny |

oh no , i was thinking about disconected exhausts , slicks and even doughnuts in the back who do help a lot for qmile times , and can only be used at the track ...
for gutting i know , lots of people drive arround in completly gutted civics I can't say that's a variable from the track to the street . |
I used to have a 93 SI hatch w/ an H22.
It will easily take out a stock S2000. It's primarily based on your driving abilities in that car. Mine used to spin well into third gear on stock tread, so sometimes even a b16 can easily keep up because your letting it spin. Like mentioned before, you can hit low 13s in stock H22 hatches with slicks. Having a strong clutch and Limited slip is very necessary to get anywhere into the 13s. If you don't have LSD and are running stock teg shafts, expect to snap them very easily after a few clutch drops. |
hey
wat shafts do u reccomend without swittching to 5 bolt..
|
Gator shafts are pretty strong.
