I won't go with what I've seen on the net cause more than half the times u see are prolly bs anyways. But up here in canada alone, I personally know a handful of guys running in the 10's, a bunch in the 11's, and nuff in the 12's, all daily drivers....in the summer anyways, hehe.

Why the hostility towards DSMs? have a bad encounter with one? :cheeky4:

No I have actually only ever lost to one car on the street, a highly modded c4 corvette. Then again my car never runs and I hardly ever race, so go figure. I have no hate for my turbo siblings, just fun smack talk.

I wasn't even arguing that the B6T was "arguably one of the best engines in the world"... I know it's not the best or even close. The crank wobble problem isn't as serious as the crank walk problem because it only happens if the person working on the car doesn't know what they are doing... where as the crank walk problem is just something that happens and is unavoidable because it's a even worse design then the B6 DOHC crank problem.

Richard Jones 10.75@132 -Manitoba
.......need I go on?

Tapp Auto and Magnus both have cars in the 9's

Now if we brought in our neighbors south of the boarder, then there would be crasy times from 9's down to a high 6.

so ur juts contradicting yourslef. you said that the 4 banger 4g found in dsm's are far from cause they can make that much hp on stock bottom end... Yet now u admited to them cranckwalking so u decide to get the 6 bolt found in the evo's. Doesn't make sense to me what your saying.

Yes 7-bolt 4g63's have a tendancy to crankwalk, especially if you use a really heavy clutch....whats your point? not a contridiction, just stating how it is. theres even a vid of a 7-bolt motor that blows up just after 455whp and over 30psi of boost. Now this is the "" 4g63 as u guys like to think of them, and it still held to gether for a few 30+psi dyno runs, now how many stock bottom ends will hold even near 30psi?

Your a dumbass, both of my DSM's came with a 6-bolt motor. My 92 plymouth laser came with a 6bolt from the factory, and my 91 talon came with a 6-bolt from the factory. Now if you look at a 6-bolt 4g63 that came in laser/talon/eclipses they will handle 450-500hp with completely stock internals....now that must be the making of a really motor. Really, whats your point anyways? Just looks like your a hater to me.

2TONE_93GT 02-11-2006 03:02 PM

so, all these canadian cars in the 10s are street legal..

videos please. :veryhappy

No problem. the 7-bolts came mid 92-99

7mgte :smilie_da , but 2 more cylinders and an extra 1L of displacement but impressive non the less. Always loved supras :fing02:

I'll try to get some videos from those guys, I talked to a couple of them regularly on msn. I should have a vid of Patrick running a 10.9, and Brad's 10.6 run on my comp, i'll try to get them up.
