new kill....
my buddy owns a 2000 mustang gt (5-speed) and told me that after he got his offroad x-pipe on that we should race. I gladly agreed and a couple of days ago we finally lined em up. from a dead start he was dead even w/ me possibly even a little ahead, 2nd i started pulling and by the end of third i was a full car in front of him. i would have kept gaining in 4th but i decided to shut it down. i talked to him after the race and he said that he was powershifting every gear. it was a fun race, just enough to get my daily adrenaline fix.

ya i dunno if those are the exact times but my buddy has a 94 gt, 5.0 5 speed, and after he got his short throw shifter, flowmaster catback, and 3:73 gears he ran a 14.8. so one w/ no mods should be somewhere in the 15s

I just need a little more power. I think my car will run high to mid 15's with a good start and it shifting into third. The tranny cooler I installed help a little with the 2-3 shift I can depress the throttle more now with out it jumping back down into 2 so I cant wait till march 18 casue we are all going to the drag strip.
