we headed out to a local cruise night last night. i had my stang, a heavily built turbo rabbit, my buddy on his 06 gs500, a turbo golf with some work and a blown last gen stang. after a while my buddy and i headed back to the city and hit a red light in the middle of nowhere, literally, nothing but land around us. so i ask if he want to do a pass, being on a bike i figured id get pumped hard. neither of us have ever launched our machines so it was gonna be a treat. light goes green and he puts about 3 bike lengths on me. im running a slightly low on tread 255 in the back so i spin a little and shortly into second gear gain some traction. top of second ive caught him and into third passed and starting to put a few lengths on him. down around 140 with a good size gap between us. this shocked me, i know i couldnt take a 600 on the motor and i figured for sure a 500 would give me a better go. next set of lights leads onto the hiway so i ask if he wants to do one from a roll. 60 k. so we start to get going, hit 60, do the 3 honk and start to go, he hangs me for about 2 seconds and then i start to pull away, 60 - 170 is where i pulled and i had put around 3 cars or so on him in that time and i was still pulling away when we shut down. very shocking outcome to me, not to him. apparantly the 500 isnt that fast of a bike he has but its quite nice to ride as i found out later that night. his bike is stock my stang was on the motor with just free tricks and under drives. gonna do it again and get it on video next time :D

he was checking out a big ducati the other week, said it was too much bike for him right now. something about it pulling the front wheel in the first 4 gears. lol.

Bikes are fast, but alot of them do get beat by cars.
I own a stang aswell, The only thing is gay would be some tough guy without a ride calling someone elses ride gay.

oh and just to add. your boyfriend isnt a good rider, a good rider on a bike, no matter what bike, will usually cut a sub 2 second short time, especially on the street, usually 1.5 - 1.6 with ease while your piece of rsx would be lucky to get below a 2.3 and with your incompitant ass behind the wheel its probably closer to a 2.5 on the street. so theres no way you pulled it from a dig. ive got a rwd car, that from factory is built to hook up, with 2 tires both measuring 255 mm and i couldnt take him straight from a dig. so before you spout off, check the facts and learn some .

lol man your such a little bitch. go back to ESL classes and learn to fuken read. my last car would hang older 600 cc bikes. and that was a half power. it wasnt a blue oval either, it was a bowtie with a little 4 banger in it. as the car currently sits, i fill up my bottle and i bet my stang would be competitive with a newer 600 cc bike from a dig or from a roll. but i unfortunatly lack the tire for such a task. when you get a car worth racing and thats competitive then you can come on here and talk, until then your only talking about a car you dont have and wont even mention what it is. chances are its a honda civic with a big gross body kit and some 20 inch spinners sitting on air ride.

you know why people buy mustangs? theyre reliable, theyre cheap to build and easy to fix. i can build a 500 hp naturally aspirated motor for my stang cheaper than you can build one for your honda. and you can boost it aswell. and im not talking about something that lasts a weekend maybe, something thats realiable, will get driven to the track, and then driven home again. no matter what you say, you will not build any car to go fast in a straight line cheaper than you can build a fox body mustang.

just to add since i dropped to your level and had to start quoting thigns we'll never see. heres somethign for your little brain. the new mustang gt500, 550 hp from 5.4 liters. your rsx makes 200 from 2 liters. pretty much dead on for both. so im not sure how the domestics just lack. oh and before you jump onto the gas milage thing, cause i know your going to at any time now. my stang gets around 26 mpg being driven gently, well that was before the 4.10's. and with lots of abuse i get about 21 mpg. its a shame i can blow blow apart rubber for hours and still get over 20 mpg. damn disapointing.

I'm a huge fan of a great looking interior,A/C, heated leather seats etc... and in your lil stang you have NONE of the above. And a stock RSX pulls abetter time than a 15 but you would not have any clue about that because your face is most likely stuck in a mustang mag all day to know any better.

NOW, you claim that a newer 600 is not fast? have you ever been on a bike besides the lil tricycle that you mom only lets you ride when you have you big red helmet on ? NO, because if you ever had been on a bike and had it past 10K you would know that your statement is just retarded. NOW when you launch a bike from a roll it's MUCH easier to keep the wheel planted by shifting more weight to the front, IF you do this from a dig 1 of 2 things will happen. 1 it will still over power you and loop you, OR you will lose too much traction on the rear wheel and your going to slide out. TRY riding a bike and launching one before you comment on it.

GREAT, there are many 10 second V* big blocks around WOW thats wonderful, see you just keep missing the mark. For a 4 banger to make the power to run in the 10,9,8's it's a HUGE deal BECAUSE of the power per liter, you might not want to respect that and I dont expect you to because thats WAY too much for you to wrap your head around. actually i havent picked up a mustang mag in about 3 years. i purposefully chose to buy an optionless car for weight savings. i do intend to road race and drag race he car and as any one knows, power to weight is where its at. a stripped down version like mine is also harder to come by, but a fox body coupe with no options is the ligthest mustang you can buy, and thats what i did :)

sure the s2k has the most hp per liter but essentially that comparison is stupid. you need to look at the overall power levels they make. look at the new zr1. 640 hp, supercharged and i cant remember the exact displacement but its just over 6 liters.

yes ive been on bikes, yes ive been on some quick ones, but in reality a 600 is just a glorified starter bike. a modded car can take it, its when you get into the 750 and bigger range that you start needing some big power. you cant deny that. a 600 isnt gods gift to bike owners, especially from a roll.

for the 4 banger comment, i think you missed somethign i said earlier, i used to own a 4 banger. a 97 cavalier. the motor was compeltely built, had 8400 into it. car was turbocharged, ran meth injection, an msd box, a short geared tranny, lightened flywheel, stage 4 spec clutch, lots of suspension work, etc etc etc. that car isnt here anymore, the motor popped when the oil pump failed. but that motor was built to make 600 hp and i had everything to support that power i just became unlucky with the oil pump, which was an aftermarket unit and theres not a ****en thing i can do to recoop a cent of that motor. anyways, im a die hard 4 banger guy, if i could go back in time and still own my cavalier i would. the car was very fast. made a load of power and fisted alot of cars and as i stated before hung some older 600 cc bikes that i came across. and that wasnt even at the cars full potential. that was 13-14 psi on a motor that would withstand 30. again she was very fast and handled like a dream compared to the stang. and stopped on a dime where as the stang doesnt. but thats gonna change eventually as upgrades are in my future. so dont think im a v8 meat head. the stang is fun to pick on cars with but i loved the shock factor of the cav pumping things it shouldnt. trans ams, vettes, higher end bmw's.

as for shannonville, its too far of a trip for me to make. tmp is more feasable but even then i need to etest the car to sticker it and thats not happening this year, not with the new temp plate they have going on and the car going away to storage in the next month, its not worth the money for a sticker. but ill gladly meet you at tmp in the new year and we can get some passes in.

Yeah you always get those guys that know it all, some due but 99.9% of them don't, then you have the ones that do nothing but read about it, never put a penny into a car, and thinks they know all the answers.
Another thing is I was going to pull out my motor to freshin it up for next year, after doing a leak down on it, the motor is not much different from when it was new, and that was 2 years ago, two trips to the dyno and 182 passes on it, and its a 8 sec car, let see some import do that.
So i will be taking this motor another season, before I build my 7 sec motor next year. The money you guys spend on your imports, fixing them you could have had a car like mine.

Then you go on to spew out more crap and show just how little you know about cars, all Japanese cars are slow right?.. so what about Skylines, Supras,RX-7? your just one of those guys who is living in the past. Japanese cars ARE just as fast as your "muscle cars" and IMHO have MUCH better styling ( the NEW Z06 and ZR-1 are exceptions they are AMAZING cars ) so we can agree to disagree you think most or all JDM cars are crap and I think the same about domestic cars... so get over it. BUT there is a difference between us I HAVE a car to be proud of.. and you, well not so much.
