Yes, your car has 10-20 more horses, and a bit more torque. Trust me though, It doesn't help when your car weighs almost 500lb more then mine. Stock for stock, I dont think your car could take mine. Only thing i'm basing that on is the fact that I smoked a friends cavalier, and at the time he had a few mods on, not that it helped him any, and I was near bone stock. My suspension wasn't even done.
However my car is not stock anymore, and putting out almost double it original power. So for you to assume that my car is slow because it has a 1.6L engine is completely stupid. What good is your 2.2 or 2.3, if all you can squeeze out is 10 extra horses. All that shows me is that my engine is more efficient, and better engineered then yours.
Sure, in its class your cavalier may be an alright contender power wise, but that class isnt very competitive. The thing you are overlooking though is "potential". That is the key word. That's where the difference lies between your car, and the others in its class.

your car does not weigh 500lb less then mine, actually, they both weight close to the same amount...do some research. yours is near 1180-90kg, and mine is 2610-20lbs...you do the math. the cav has a 2.4, not a 2.2, not a 2.3. your car has 127hp and 107lb/tq, mine has 150h and 155tq. stock for stock, he would have beat you...hell the 2.2 would have beat you.
the things that tell me if if u wanted luxury, fine, it has me on that. but dont start talking about how your car is so amazing. its a 1.6el, and not even a new model one at that. pos.
yours is putting out almost double...wowwwwwwwwwww, what do u have, almost 200hp now, omg congrats, ****ing powerplant right there. im guessing you still have like 130lb tq. hondas have amazing tq, they are known for their massive amounts of it. stfu.

lol ...this is funny how every thread here turns into cavalier bashing ....
but back on toppic ..integra rs is just basic integra model i guess its like 145hp 1.8l engine..he has intake exhaust and short shifter ..
suby 165 hp 2.5l intake headers exhaust ecu upgrade - but the awd slows it way **** down and i would imagine its heavier than the teg .
we did couple launches of the lights and the suby got 2 cars on the teg and stayed like that till 120..didnt try to go faster ..
that was with shitty tires on the teg and it was spinning out in second.
so we have to try again with new tires and do it from a dig and a roll.
will try to get a movie or something ...
and this is all done on private roads in a controlled environment.

As for your power, its still not impressive either.
And double of 130 is 260, I am making 250. And slightly less torque. 220. On stock internals.
Oh and about my car being old. I dont consider a 99 to be that old. Plus the age of a car has nothing to do with anything. For example, I would love to have a 50's porsche. Doesn't make that car a POS cuz its old.

acura 1.6 is one the most retarded cars out there. They take a small econobox put some leather inside, but its still a ****ing civic...only it costs a shitload more. good job man...luxury entrence level.... they didnt even care to put a better engine on it geez..

d-series are said to be able to handle around 220-230whp on stock internals, and a lot of guys on the turbo d series sites have been running that without problems. Eventually I may go with forged internals and up the boost, but it is still my daily driver, and I need money for school, so we will see how that goes.
I agree though, the EL should have come with a better engine, and it sort of did. They kind of messed it up when they brought it into Canada. In japan, the same car, but known as a domani, comes with 4wd and a b18. So, I dont know why they downgraded when they brought it here. Go figure, lol.

Ok, give me your number and I'll call you back in ten years. I'm sure by that time you will have gone through 7 cavs at least.
