Actually no. I drive a 04 infiniti g35 coupe. But hey i get beat by caravans all the time. With 427 WHP I bet any civic or a cav can beat me. You ****ing ricer

i guess i may just be partial to hondas because i own 2 but i will say the civic anyways. my 94 si is in the works now...be a while til the beast gets loose.

dont talk about things you have no clue about. 95 was the first year of the new body style and a 2.3 liter, a low output quad 4 motor was in there not the 2.4 twin cam. the low output made a tad less power than the twincam motor. 150hp and 145 tq vs the 96+ 150hp and 155tq. 96 was an inbetween yearfor obd1 and obd2 and was the first year of the twincam motor, which is a 2.4 liter.

nice thing about the 95 is that the high output quad slips right into place and the wiring is the same and you simply swap chips. meaning a 180 hp swap is directly done in about 6 hours with beer breaks.

every 2.4 liter cavalier ive seen has run faster than evrey 2.3 liter ive seen stock for stock. chances are the 95 might not have enough but the 96+ being a bit faster in stock form will take a stock si. hell the stock si made what, 125ish hp. not enough if both drivers are good. an sir on the other hand is a different story.

also the 96+ cars were all high 15 second cars with good drivers. 15.7-15.9 bone stock. the odd car running mid to low 15's with a good driver, those cars were built on a wednesday, lol

He's talking about the high output 2.3 quad 4's compared to the low out put ones that came in the 95 cavs...What did the HO engines come in? beretta's?

i know lots about thes cars, im a fuken goldmine, lol.

the 2.3 HO motor is a direct swap, 180 hp, and tons of torque starting at about 2200 or so rpm. 8000 rpm capabilities stock aswell. but it was a tempermental motor and needed someone with knowledge of the motor to keep it running and not just some jackass who does an oil change every 20k. turbob18c, read what i wrote, the ho is a direct swap, came in berettas, calais, grand ams achievas. hell if you were lucky yo ucould find a factory lsd equiped tranny car.

fousse, car at one point made 150 hp being a 97, now it makes a smidge more im always up for a race, set something up

thoose things suck, i have dusted gtz's and quad 4 grandams with my field runing 3.1 litre z24, no cross over pipe !! its sexual. oh my god, gm mad something they claim makes 180 h,p lets jump on it. its got to be good.

haha wow for a guy that sucks dick you sure do talk alot of . first off a 3.1 liter z24 wont beat a high output quad 4 car, in fact it wont beat a 2.4 twin cam car. ive lengthed 3.1 cars over and over and over and over again when i was stock. a 3.1 makes almost the same amount of torque as the quad 4 but makes 145 hp. so tell me how your beating them? heres how, your not. the only quad 4 you were beating is the low output version which made dick for power and didnt rev that well. it was a paper weight. maybe your beating the famous gm 2.5 liter which isnt a quad 4 but infact an iron duke and makes like 50 hp. lol.

im really hoping your not refering to my car as the hacked together j body because sunshine, if you dont know what i have done, you should do your research on these forums before foaming at the gums. pick on a stock z24, not one thats beenmassaged in the ways mine has, ill give you a hint as to what im talking about, when i go out, and pick on cars say on the hiway, i dont play with my old field. i go after things like corvettes, high end bimmers and mercedes, and the occasional porsche that i come across. trust me, the car isnt near stock anymore
