protege question
hey wass up everyone...ive been looking at 1995-1998 protege's lately and started to like them and i was wondering if u guys can tell me about any common problems they have? and also is it hard to swap in a klze into them? thanks for the help.

I used to own a 1996 Mazda Protege LX 5spd, the stock engine lasted me 220,000 miles and it never died or had any problems. I swapped the engine out for the JSpec version that comes turbo stock. I was running 200whp at 14lbs. They are very good and reliable cars, let me know what year you are looking at. 1996 FTW!!!
**EDIT** The Klze is not the way to go, get the BPT engine more reliable, my friend built his and got 316hp @21lbs on pump gas. mad sleeper man.**
