It cools down the air before it enters the engine. The "charge" is the air from the turbo to the throttle body.

oohhh so it is air to water intercooler. But why not use air to air. It is more effective.
Or is it already there, and air to water is just additional cooling effect?

the purpose of my post was just to help out and let him know it cools the intake charge. which is exactly what its function is.

Bushur Racing has the Fastest....AMS has the Dyno Queen....Turbo Trix hasn't Responded yet.

Water to Air INtercoolers are More efficient and also offer a shorter INtake Piping route for better response and less turbo lag

I believe the AMS evo has just broken 1000whp. i know they were in teh 900's a few months ago. go on youtube and search AMS Evo. i know its running in the 9 seconds too so i'm not sure which is faster.
