Is AC ok to charge my motorcycle

battery...? I'm tight with money and I thought I could save a few quid by using an old charger to charge my motorcycle battery. The charger is 10V 500MA and it's AC - what would happen if i used it? I guess it's only been designed to work up to 10V right?Cheers

No. If you use AC you will fry the battery. All batteries work on DC, and a measly 500 MA charger will probably melt due to current drain, especially at only 10 volts. There's cheap and then there's foolhardy.

A motorcycle battery needs to be charged slowly by a trickle charger. You will not be saving money using the charger you have listed, asyou will be buying a new battery after your old one is fried.

Only if you like it when your battery bursts into flames.
