I have a dirtbike and I love it they are awesome but it depends where you live. ATV's are better for open dirt and a lot of space and snow. But if there are a lot of trails or there is a motcross track i would go with a dirtbike. Dirtbikes will be a lot better in small trails. ATV's might be to big.

Well i have had an atv for about three yrs just got a bigger one, love it. Atv are alot safer if you dont fall off and it really depends on if your trail dune or racing it. Dirt biikes take alot of practice and can be very easy to fly off. Dirtbike pros: Easy to jump, less expencive tires, some parts cheaper, require some not alot of maintenceDirtbike cons: Esy to fall off, Have to land jumps right or loose control, more expencive oil for racingAtv pros: just get on and ride, alot of varieties, hard to mess up really hard, over all easy to workAtv cons: some things get really expensive, if you fall off alot of weight if rolled over on you. ........hope i helped
