Bike wont crank after oil change?

I have an 02 gsxr 750 and I just finshed changing oil and filter. Bike started and ran fine just before the change now that im finished the cluster says check and it wont even crank...what happened?

the battery is fine. when the key is turned on the tach sweeps like it should but no sound from the fuel pump as normally would happen gicing me the impression the computer is causing the prop since it doesnt attept to crank

check your terminals for a tight connection.

if it's not tight - theres no connectivity.

on your battery - your battery terminals...

did you check the spark plugs cause that's what happened to my bike you change the spark plugs often cause they can have a build up of oil and dirt but try cleaning them with a piece of sand paper first and they work just as new

First take a look and see if you loosened a wire or a ground fell off while you were changing the oil. Next, try and turn the engine by hand. Take the spark plug(s) out and see if it will turn over. Next, check the starter fuse. After that, load it in the back of a truck and take it to a shop to be fixed.

alot of times when the engine senses there is no oil in the pump then it will not crank. Check to make sure you used the correct type of oil first for your bike and then make sure that you put the right amount in. If the level is down from normal the engine will do a "lock" down to protect itself. Cars do not do this but smaller engines/bikes do this for protection. Hope that helps some.
