...motorcycle? i'm wondering what a good reasonably sized bike would be, ive riden dirtbikes and i'm not completly new to the idea of a motorcycle and ive riden before and i can handle a reasonably sized bike, i dont want anything huge probably like a 500 but what are good bikes to look at for a reasonable price?

Look at a Kawasaki concours 14. It is the fastest tourer out there and is big enough to haul all of your golf clubs.

I used to own a Suzuki GT-380. It had 150 mph on the speedometer. I had it up to 120, then backed off. It was a good fast bike.

I would have to say from past experience, you are wasting your time with a 500cc. My first bike was a Suzuki gsx-r 750. If you bought a 500, you will be wanting more power in just a couple of months.
