i'd go with the sr20 just because it's the easiest swap to do. If money isnt an issue and you have alot of mechanical know-how then go for the rb26

I dont konw why you guys always do swaps. i have a dohc and i turboed it in 2003 and it will rock any sr anyday.
I have built 3 differnt setups on it not. The one i am on now is good to 600hp.
If anyone has any kat questoins send me a pm.

Either option will work fine, but it depends on how much cash you have to spend. RB25 will be the most expensive, but most fun.

SR20DET has the best balance of all the options. It has the most aftermarket support (Exception to the RB26DETT questionably). It is not overly difficult or expensive to install and offers excellent reliability.

to build a 350 RWHP SR20det you require only bolt-ons. TO do that with a KA-T internals come into play. And well, all the others offer a far greater expense to start with with exception to the CA of which parts are more difficult and expensive to source.

rb20, Nice engine but it takes longer for the turbo in the rb20 to spool for some reason, your best bet is a sr20 but flaspoint made some good points to, I hope it works out for you!

The SR20 or for people with a heavier pockets, the 2JZ can be done for cheaper and easier than the RB26

But the RB25 is real simple to install as well. Everything to drop it in is available and it doent take much effort to pump out over 400 ponies. Im running a RB20DET in my 240Z and it kicks!

The RB20 is one thing, but I'm pretty sure the RB25 and RB26 require a custom fabricated driveshaft. The only thing the RB25-6 have over the 2JZ is the 240 can use the Skyline crossmembers.

It all depends on preference and power numbers.
